• The above rates are for Japanese ⇔ English. For Japanese ⇔ German, French, Spanish, Italian, Chinese, Korean, Russian, and other languages, we will quote separately.
• One day is 7 hours of actual work (8 hours of restraint), and half a day is 3 hours or less. If it exceeds half a day, it will be charged for one day. In addition, if the detention exceeds 8 hours, an overtime fee will be charged every 1 hour thereafter. In addition, in the case of accompanying interpreters, the detention time is the actual working time.
• In the case of business trips, even if it is less than 3 hours, all charges will be charged for one day, and the half-day rate will not apply. Please refer to the "Transportation Policy" below for business trip areas.
• For simultaneous interpretation, we will respond to 2 people within 3 hours, and 3~4 people if it exceeds 3 hours. For consecutive interpretation, except for accompanying interpreters, one person will be available for up to 4 hours, and if it exceeds 4 hours, 2 people will be utilized.
• For interpretation between other languages (e.g., English ⇔ French, German, etc.), there is a possibility that interpreters will be invited from overseas, in this case we will quote you separately.
• Please consult with us in advance about the secondary use of the interpreter's voice. You may be charged the same amount as the interpretation fee.
• The fee for interpretation is determined by the class of the interpreter, not the nature of the work. (For example, even if a Class A interpreter performs Class C (business negotiation interpretation work), Class A fee will be charged.) ）

Transportation Policy

(1) Business trip area
If a reasonable distance (more than 50 km) or time (1 hour or more) is required to move the interpreter, the following expenses will be charged.

(2) Compensation for movement and detention
If the meeting is held in a business travel area and a considerable amount of time is required for travel, the following expenses will be incurred for detentions other than interpretation services.
[Domestic]
For half a day (within 4 hours) of travel on a day when there is no meeting: Half-day interpretation fee×1/2
For half a day (within 4 hours) of travel on the day of the meeting: Half-day interpretation fee×1/2
When the journey takes more than 4 hours, or when you are detained for 1 day at the site: 1-day interpretation fee×1/2
[Overseas]
If you are detained all day on the day of travel: 1-day interpretation fee×1/2
Interpretation for the delegation will be charged for one day from the time they arrive at the site until the day of departure.
This does not apply if a local interpreter can be arranged.

(3) Business travel expenses and per day
[Domestic]
When the interpreter bears all accommodation and food expenses: 25,000 JPY/day
If the organizer bears the accommodation expenses, it will be used as food expenses as per day: 10,000 JPY/day
In the case where the organizer bears all accommodation and meal expenses (3 meals), or on days (including day trips) that do not involve accommodation: 5,000 JPY/day
[Overseas]
When the interpreter bears all the accommodation and food expenses: 50,000 JPY/day
If the organizer bears the accommodation expenses, it will be used as food expenses as per day: 20,000 JPY/day
When the organizer bears all accommodation and meal expenses (3 meals): 10,000 JPY/day

Transportation Expenses

[Domestic]

• Airfare to and from the conference location and round-trip train (reserved seating)
• Actual ground transportation costs at the conference site

[Overseas]

• Airfare to and from the conference location and round-trip train fares
• Actual ground transportation costs at the conference site

Note:

• If the venue is more than a 10-minute walk from the station, you will be charged the actual cost of the taxi separately.
• As a general rule, please stay at the same hotel as the conference venue or the speaker.
• In the case of overseas business trips, neighboring countries (China, South Korea, Hong Kong, Taiwan, and the Philippines) will arrive at the conference site two days before, and other regions will arrive at the conference site two days before.
• Ground transportation costs refer to transportation costs to international airports and transportation expenses overseas.

Cancellation Policy

[Domestic]
For the first day of the meeting
Cancellation 5~4 days prior to the meeting date: 30% of the estimated amount
Cancellation 3~2 days before the meeting date: 50% of the quoted amount
Cancellation on the day before or on the day of the meeting: 100% of the estimated amount

[Overseas]
In the case of cancellation of a business trip, a cancellation fee will be charged from 7 days prior to the departure date for transportation expenses, interpretation fees other than per day, and detention compensation expenses.

Consumption Tax

[Domestic]
Consumption tax will be added except for transportation expenses.
