Call for Papers

Abstract Overview

A registered participant can only submit one abstract that will be presented as an oral presentation or poster in Contributed Paper sessions: a participant can only present either an oral or poster presentation.
The Organizing Committee will accommodate requests for oral presentations only in so far as space is available. Some participants requesting for oral presentations may be asked to present a poster if the program fills to capacity.

Oral presentations

The maximum 90 submitted abstracts will be accepted to be included in oral presentations. Presentation time for each speakers is 15 min including question time.

Poster presentations

The maximum 90 submitted abstracts will be accepted for poster presentaions. A display area will be 90 cm in width and 140 cm in height. All posters will be exposed during the full length of the Forum.

Student Presentation Awards

In APPF2024, all student presentations will be considered for the Student Presentation Award. Three students from oral presentations and three students from poster presentations will be awarded for their excellent presentations.

How to Write an Abstract

An abstract should be in 300–350 words using the template below and including title, names and affiliations of authors, e-mail address and abstract body. It must be written in English, using single spacing and Times font. The title should be in bold, 12-point font, while the names, affiliations, and email addresses should be in 11-point font. The abstract body should be in 10-point font. Please refer to an example below for the detailed format.

September 6 to November 30 December 10, 2023 (2:00pm JST)

Notice of Abstract Acceptance

An e-mail will be sent to notify you if your abstract has been accepted.
